If you’re wondering what OSKO is at Commonwealth Bank and how to use it, here's a clear and detailed explanation.

What Is OSKO in CBA?

OSKO® is a fast payment service by BPAY that enables near real‑time transfers using the NPP infrastructure. You may see the OSKO logo in your transaction history when you send or receive payments using PayID or a BSB/account number.

Where OSKO Is Available

CBA offers OSKO payments through both NetBank and the CommBank mobile app when you use PayID or Pay Anyone functionality to send or receive money.

How to Register PayID in CommBank

To enable OSKO payments, register a PayID (email or mobile number): in NetBank go to Settings → Payment Settings → PayID and follow the prompts; in the CommBank app go to Profile → Manage PayID, select type, link your account, verify via NetCode and confirm your chosen display name.

Transfer Times and First‑time Security Holds

After setup, payments to existing payees typically arrive within a minute. However, first‑time transfers to a new recipient may be held for up to 24 hours as a fraud‑prevention measure.

OSKO Transaction Limits at CBA

The default daily limit for OSKO transfers is AUD 20,000, which can be increased (up to AUD 100,000 for personal customers, higher for business) through NetBank or by calling CommBank support.
