Quick overview

BankVic Internet banking enables members to manage their money quickly and securely, whether via the web or the BankVic mobile app. The service supports everyday banking tasks, fast PayID/Osko payments and options for international transfers (via a partnered provider).

Key internet banking features

  • Check the balances — view your account balances anytime through Internet Banking or the mobile app.
  • Look through the history of your accounts — transaction history and eStatements are available in Internet Banking.
  • Make transfers within BankVic — fast transfers between your own BankVic accounts.
  • Transfer money to other Australian banks and abroad — domestic PayID/Osko transfers are supported; international transfers are offered via BankVic’s Send Payments partnership.
  • Pay with OSKO by the PayID — set up a PayID (mobile, email or ABN) and use Osko for near real-time payments between participating banks.
  • Get 24/7 banking via the app — the BankVic mobile app provides round-the-clock access to banking; phone/contact centre support operates during business hours (Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm AEST).
  • Manage your details — update contact details, set security options and manage card controls from Internet Banking or the app.
  • Set up security parameters — login methods and additional protections (OTP, app PIN/biometrics, CAPTCHA on login) are used to secure access.
  • Make other financial operations — BPAY, scheduled payments, card controls and mobile wallet support (Apple/Google/Samsung Pay) are available.

Login & registration (what to expect)

The Internet Banking login requires your Member Number and Password, and in some flows you’ll also enter the text from an on-screen image (CAPTCHA) or a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile. To register for Internet Banking you can call the Contact Centre and they will provide a temporary password and guide the initial setup.

International transfers

BankVic partners with a specialist provider (Send Payments) to handle international money transfers — members are referred to that service for FX rates and sending money overseas. This means international transfers are available, but processed via the partner rather than directly inside BankVic’s legacy rails.

Support & security notes

  • Support hours: BankVic’s Contact Centre is available Monday–Friday 8am–6pm AEST; emergency/claims lines for certain insurance services may offer 24/7 claim notifications — but general banking support is business hours. For 24/7 access to your accounts, use the BankVic app or Internet Banking.
  • Security: BankVic reminds members that staff will never ask for full passwords, and standard fraud warnings apply — always verify communications and use the official app/website to log in.
