What is BankVic PayID?

BankVic PayID is a secure and convenient way to send and receive payments using your mobile number or email address, eliminating the need to share your BSB and account number. Integrated with Osko by BPAY®, PayID enables near-instant transfers between participating Australian banks and credit unions.

Setting Up Your PayID

To create a PayID with BankVic, you have two options:

• Via the BankVic Mobile App:
  1. Open the BankVic app and tap on 'Account Balances'.
  2. Navigate to 'Payments' and select 'PayID'.
  3. Tap 'Add New' and follow the prompts to complete the setup.
• Via Internet Banking:
  1. Log in to Internet Banking.
  2. Go to 'Manage PayID' and click on 'Create PayID'.
  3. Enter your chosen mobile number or email address and follow the prompts.

Using PayID to Send Money

To send money using PayID:

• Via the BankVic Mobile App:
  1. Tap on 'Transfers' and select 'To Others'.
  2. Choose an existing PayID or tap 'Add New' to create one.

• Via Internet Banking:
  1. Navigate to 'Payments' and select 'Transfer Money'.
  2. Enter the recipient's PayID and payment details.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete the transfer.

Receiving Money with PayID

To receive money using PayID, simply provide your registered PayID (mobile number or email address) to the sender. Once the payment is made, the funds will appear in your account instantly, provided the sender's bank supports Osko payments.
