Where do I find my BankSA customer access number?

You can find your Customer Access Number in one of the following ways:

  • In the Mobile Banking App:
    1. Log in to the BankSA Mobile Banking App.
    2. Tap the three dots in the top left-hand corner.
    3. Your Customer Access Number will be displayed above your last login details.
  • In Internet Banking:
    1. Log in to Internet Banking.
    2. Once logged in, your CAN will be displayed in the bar across the top of your screen, underneath your name.

If you are currently logged out of or are unable to log on to Internet Banking, you can retrieve your Customer Access Number by following these steps:

  1. From the Internet Banking logon page, click "Forgotten?" next to the Card/Access Number (CAN) field.
  2. Enter your card details and date of birth.
  3. Select a registered phone number to receive a Secure Code. You can choose to have your Secure Code sent via SMS or voice message.
  4. Click "Send" and enter the Secure Code when received.
  5. Click "Authenticate" to receive your Access Number via SMS.

Alternatively, you can contact BankSA's customer service at 13 13 76 (available 8am–8pm, Monday–Friday) for assistance in retrieving your CAN.
