Bankwest direct debit

Bankwest offers a convenient way to manage your direct debits through both their mobile banking app and online banking platform. Here's how you can set up and manage direct debits:

Setting Up Direct Debits in Bankwest

To establish a direct debit arrangement, you have two primary options:

• In the Bankwest Mobile Banking App:
  1. Open the Bankwest App and log in.
  2. Navigate to the 'Money' tab.
  3. Tap on 'Payments'.
  4. Choose 'Make a payment'.
  5. Enter the transaction details for the direct debit.
  6. Under 'Frequency', select the appropriate option for your direct debit schedule.
• In Bankwest Online Banking:
  1. Log in to your Bankwest Online Banking account.
  2. Go to 'Payments & transfers'.
  3. Click on 'Make a payment'.
  4. Fill in the required transaction information.
  5. Under 'Frequency', choose the suitable option for your direct debit schedule.

If you prefer, you can also complete a Direct Debit Request form and submit it to Bankwest via email at [email protected], by fax to 1300 664 825, or by post to GPO BOX W2072, PERTH WA 6846. Please note that emailing or faxing documents is at your own risk, as these are unsecured methods of communication.

Managing and Cancelling Direct Debits

To manage or cancel your direct debits:

• In the Bankwest Mobile Banking App:
  1. Log in to the Bankwest App.
  2. Navigate to the 'Money' tab.
  3. Tap on 'Payments'.
  4. Find 'Upcoming Payments'.
  5. Select the payment you wish to manage or cancel.
  6. Tap 'Delete payment' under 'Manage payment'.
• In Bankwest Online Banking:
  1. Log in to your Bankwest Online Banking account.
  2. Go to 'Payments & transfers'.
  3. Click on 'Upcoming payments'.
  4. Select the payment you wish to manage or cancel.
  5. Click 'Delete payment' under 'Manage payment'.
