Setting up a PayID is quick and can be done from the comfort of your home using either the BankSA Mobile Banking App or Internet Banking.

How to Create a PayID with BankSA

To create a PayID, follow these steps:

  1. Using the BankSA Mobile Banking App:
    • Log in to your BankSA Mobile Banking App.
    • Navigate to Services > Manage my PayID details.
    • Follow the prompts to link your mobile number or ABN to your eligible BankSA account.
  2. Using Internet Banking:
    • Log in to BankSA Internet Banking.
    • Go to Transfer, payments & BPAY > Manage my > PayID, or
    • Navigate to My details & settings > My Information > PayID.
    • Follow the prompts to link your mobile number or ABN to your eligible BankSA account.

Once your PayID is created and activated, you can start receiving payments by sharing your registered PayID with others. Payments made to your PayID are processed in near real-time, typically credited to your account within seconds, even on weekends and public holidays.
