You can close your Bank of Melbourne banking account in one of the following ways:

Before closing your account, please ensure that:
- All outstanding cheques have been presented for payment.
- Any recurring payments or direct debits linked to the account have been cancelled.
- All unused cheques, cards, and passbooks associated with the account are returned to the bank.
If your account has a credit balance, you will need to provide details of where and how you would like the funds disbursed. Please note that a fee of $10 is payable if a bank cheque is required.
