Commonwealth Bank chargeback - is a return of a credit card payment at the initiative of a client. This usually happens in the following cases:

  • the credit card was not activated at the time of the financial transactions
  • the goods or services paid for were not received or they have already been paid for in a different way
  • money was debited twice
  • the wrong amount was debited
  • the purchase price has been changed without notice to the customer
  • the purchase exceeds the limit previously set by the client
  • the operation was carried out by scammers

You should use the mobile app to make a credit card chargeback in Commonwealth Bank, for this:

  • sign in to the mobile app
  • press the Help icon
  • choose Chat now
  • describe your problem

Additional dispute commissions can be applied.
