Financial hardship – how do I contact Commonwealth Bank?

Find out what a customer of CBA should do being in financial hardship

Almost all of us have been in financial difficulty.

They can be caused by illness, like COVID-19 or injury, unemployment, loss of a relative, or natural disasters.

If this situation may affect your ability to meet your obligations to Commonwealth like a credit card o mortgage debt, so you should immediately contact the bank and describe your situation in detail in one of the following ways:

  • apply to Ceba assistant in the mobile app or apply for financial assistance in online banking
  • call at 13-30-95 or 1300-720-814 on Mon-Fri from 8 am to 9 pm or on Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm
  • send e-mail to [email protected]
  • write at PO Box 790 Parramatta NSW 2124

Such a step may allow you not only to get a temporary respite on the loan but also to avoid penalties from the bank.
