If you want to speak with a Westpac specialist, here’s everything you need to know about booking an appointment—based on your needs, whether it’s personal banking or business advice.
Do You Need an Appointment?
- For general personal banking queries—accounts, cards, online services—no appointment is required; you can simply walk into a branch.
- If you’re applying for a home loan, refinancing, or need detailed product advice, you can book an appointment online or have a specialist call you back
How to Book a Home Loan Appointment
- Visit Westpac’s home loan application page and click “Book appointment”.
- You can choose a phone callback or an in‑branch meeting with a home loan specialist.
- Bring along ID, proof of income, and any documents needed for your loan discussion.
Booking a Business Appointment
- For business banking advice, call 132 142 to schedule a meeting with a business banker.
- Alternatively, use the Westpac App’s “Contact Us” to request a callback from a business specialist.
- Some branches offer the **Connect Now** service for video appointments with business bankers—available Mon–Fri, 8:30 am–6 pm.
No-Appointment Options
- You can walk into any Westpac branch for general transactions or questions without an appointment.
- Use the Westpac App to call or chat directly via “Contact Us”—no need to visit a branch
- For quick support, visit Online Banking and tap “Chat with us” on the dashboard
When to Make an Appointment
- Planning a home loan, refinancing, or bridging loan — appointment recommended.
- Starting a new business account or applying for merchant/EFTPOS services — call 132 142 to book.
- Need tailored advice (e.g., farm finance, international banking) — book specialist consultation.
