Commonwealth Bank money order fees

See the CBA money order fees

Most banking services are subject to fees. Money transfers within Australia and abroad are no exception. Banks may charge a transfer fee as a percentage of the transfer amount, as well as a fixed fee for the payment. In addition, banks may charge a fee for stopping a payment by money transfer in their tariffs. If you plan to send funds through Commonwealth Bank, we suggest that you familiarize yourself with the current fees.

The Commbank money order commissions are:

• 2 AUD - Money Orders fee

• 30 AUD - Money Order Stop Payment commission

CBA uses correspondent banks to process IMTs and there are charges for this service.

For cross-currency IMTs, we’ll absorb these correspondent bank fees when you send an IMT via NetBank, the CommBank app or in-branch.

Don't forget to compare the rates of other banks for money transfers, this will allow you to save money if necessary.
