Receiving a money transfer is, in most cases, a pleasant event. To ensure everything goes smoothly, it is important to provide the sender with accurate and complete information. Let’s take a closer look at international transfers through the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

To receive international transfers to the account in CBA, you need to provide the following details:

  • BIC/SWIFT Code of Commonwealth Bank of Australia: CTBAAU2S
  • your 14-digit banking account number: 06_ _ _ _- _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

This way, the sender will be able to transfer funds to you from abroad if they know the BIC/SWIFT Code of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and your bank account number, which consists of 14 digits and begins with 06.
